Modifying Default Configuration Settings
Bydefault,OSPFisdisabledonthedevice,andnoinstancesorareasareconfigured.Oncean
OSPFinstanceiscreatedandanetworkareaassigned,theMatrixDFESeriesorN‐SAsystemwill
applydefaultsettingsforcost,timers,andothersettings.Table 8‐4listsOSPFparameters,their
default
settings,andtheassociatedcommandsandconfigurationmodesusedtomodifydefaults.
