Syntax
set dhcpsnooping log-invalid port port-string {enable | disable}
Parameters

Disabled.
Mode
Switchcommand,read‐write.
Usage
TheDHCPsnoopingapplicationprocessesincomingDHCPmessages.ForDHCPRELEASEand
DHCPDECLINEmessages,theapplicationcomparesthereceiveinterface andVLANwiththe
clientʹsinterfaceandVLANinthebindingsdatabase.Iftheinterfacesdonotmatch,the
applicationlogstheeventiflogginghasbeenenabled.
Usetheshow
dhcpsnoopingcommandtodisplaythestatus(enabledordisabled)oflogging
invalidpacketsforeachinterfaceinanenabledVLAN.Theshowdhcpsnoopingstatistics
commandshowstheactualnumberofservermessagesreceivedonuntrustedports.
Example
ThisexampleenablesloggingofinvalidDHCPmessagesonportge.1.1andthendisplaysthe
DHCPconfigurationsettings.
