Syntax
set ip address ip-address [mask ip-mask] [gateway ip-gateway]
Parameters
Defaults
Ifnotspecified,ip‐maskwillbesettothenaturalmaskoftheip‐addressandip‐gatewaywillbesetto
theip‐address.
Mode
Switchcommand,read‐write.
Usage
Parametersmustbeenteredintheordershown(hostIP,thenmask,thengateway)forthe
commandtobeaccepted.
Example
ThisexampleshowshowtosetthesystemIPaddressto10.1.10.1withamaskof255.255.128.0:
B2(su)->set ip address 10.1.10.1 mask 255.255.128.0
clear ip address
UsethiscommandtoclearthesystemIPaddress.
Syntax
clear ip address
Parameters
None.
Defaults
None.
Note: The B2 does not support the ability for a user to configure the host's gateway to be a local
routed interface IP. The host's gateway must exist on a different device in the network if one is
configured.
